I REALLY MISS.....

  • AJ's giggle followed by, "That's funny, Mama!" in his sweet little voice.

  • Anna Grace's loud and super-high-pitched squeaky voice yelling, "....but Kai-Kai!"

  • Curling up with my sweet husband in my own bed!

  • Amanda rummaging through the fridge saying, "There's nothing to eat here.", when we just came back from grocery shopping.

  • Going out to the mailbox to get my mail, although I know there's really nothing there but bills.
  • The kids sitting down to watch a movie and hearing them in unison yell out, "Mama, we need a snacky, please."....over and over.

  • A nice, long hot shower in my bathroom, followed by a blow dryer and flat iron.

  • Anna Grace's attachment issues. (Is that crazy? But, I do! I miss EVERYTHING about her!)

  • My crazy schedule of driving kids around, softball games, t-ball games and just my plain 'ole insane-but-wouldn't-change-it-for-anything life.

Awww....soon, my friend...soon. Funny how we don't realize how much we really love the hectic-ness of our lives until we are away from it for a bit.
Hope AJ is having a great day and hope you are both back home soon!

love you!!!

Isn't it amazing how much we tend to take for granted about our family? I know you are so thankful for EACH and every one of them and your reunion is going to be so sweet! Still praying and waiting with you for that ticket HOME!!! Perhaps Jack Bower could sweep in and shake things up a little while you wait...wouldn't that be grand? ;)
Hugs,
Holly

Ohilda I have read your updates today and I'm glad little Kai's oxygen levels seem to be doing good...is that still the case? I know at one point yall thought you might get to go home tomorrow...I know you are beyond ready.
Continuing to pray for your WHOLE family...and I think it is SO SWEET that you miss AG's attachment issues...I hear your heart missin' those babies at home.

Well, I feel so sorry for Kai, but I am really enjoying, what you need a brake from. Was so hard for me to keep people away, everybody offers to help me with my little angels during the weekend and I was wondering if they could take care of Ralph, instead, lol. but I honestly appreciate how much our family and friends love you and your kids so much, God bless them and thanks for all offers.

Thinking of you, Ohilda! I am POSITIVE that they miss you just as much as you miss them. :o) God is so wise...the things that once might have bogged down your daily existence are now cherished...but they aren't gone forever...they are only a few days away from being returned. Just a little awakening moment...we all need those every now and then...although I must say you did it the HARD WAY! (next time a week away with Scott would be more appropriate than helicopter rides and PICU...) :o) Love and hugs to you, Ohilda! Someday I am going to meet you in person and give you a huge hug!

Morning - it won't be too long now - a regular room - that means that they'll throw you out any day now!! But like you - I miss home when I'm away!

Many hugs - blessings - and try to get a little rest oK?
