Can you help bring Rachael home?

Rachael Jane YuZhu

This adorable little one is so close to being home with her forever family in Arkansas. Rachel Jane YuZhu is a waiting child with albinism. Her Mama, Charlotte, just received the Letter of Acceptance for sweet Rachael, but is still struggling to raise the last funds needed for travel. Charlotte has been working 7 days a week (she's a single Mom) and been doing non-stop fundraisers to be united with her beautiful daughter.

She is hoping to receive travel approval by the end of October or the beginning of November. God always provides, and I am confident that this case is no different, but I know what it's like to wonder where the money will come from and the anxiety of bringing home another little one (this is Charlotte's 3rd China adoption).

If it is at all possible, can you search your hearts and donate a small amount of $1, 5, 10 dollars...any amount would help to bring home her baby girl? Click here to go to Charlotte's blog. You can contribute directly at the blog, or you can go through Kingdom Kids, a non-profit organization, helping families by taking tax-deductible donations for their adoption expenses, and donate under the Weddle Family.

Lastly, of course, prayers are always needed, not only for funds, but for safe travels and for little Rachael's adjustment to her new family. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly for caring for His little ones.

Busy...busy...busy!

I've been wanting to give an update on Anna Grace's attachment and all of the going-ons here, plus some praise reports, but it's been tough this week finding the time.

I did want to say that Anna Grace had her Early Intervention Evalution today and qualifies for the program! That is big because we will hopefully get her started on OT and/or PT within the next few weeks. We have her scheduled appt. with Shriner's Hospital next month and will hopefully begin her surgery(ies) before the year is over.

I've been working hard with her and the attachment issues and we are consistently seeing progress. More to come on that later, but for now....thanking Jesus for allowing her therapies being approved. We are moving along!
