"Once our eyes are opened, we cannot pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

Four years ago today...

our lives were transformed. On a cold morning in a Civil Affairs office in Hangzhou, China, a teeny tiny little boy walked into our arms and never looked back.

Seconds after meeting our angel for the first time.

Kai, you have brought us more joy than we ever thought was possible. Just when we thought we couldn't love you more, our love blooms again and we find ourselves submerged in complete "Kai-ness bliss".

And we wouldn't have it any other way!

Happy 4th Forever Family Day, sweet boy! We love you as much as the whole, wide world...and back again!

For those of you that weren't there to share that magical moment with us, you can click HERE to read about the emotional rollercoaster we went on.

Our little man and with his very proud Mama right before leaving, earlier this week, to our first Mother/Son dance at school. ::sigh::

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

"Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last." - Luke 23:46

On a day over 2000 years ago when the world couldn't understand what was happening, God's plan was perfectly laid out.

Fast forward to Good Friday 2006, we stepped foot on American soil having come back from the ancient land of China, with one of the most precious gifts we have ever been given, our son, Adrian Wen "KAI" Bombardier.

Thank you Father God for the ultimate sacrifice, your beloved son, so that we may have eternal life.

May we remember and be thankful for this sacrifice today.

Our "ORDEAL" continues...

UPDATE: I am saddened beyond belief that what I was hoping to be the end, indeed is not. I thank you all for your prayers and they are appreciated more than you could ever imagine. I will continue to keep you (as) posted as I possibly can. For now, we are looking at another almost 3 more months of uncertainty in our lives.

If you happen to think about us, it would be greatly appreciated if you could say a little prayer for God's perfect will to be done today, Tuesday. He knows exactly what is in our hearts and I pray that it coincides with His will. We are reaching the end.

Thank you dear friends.

Much love,
