"Once our eyes are opened, we cannot pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

Amazing love

I was having a conversation in the car with the kids about their teacher, friends at school, etc. I then decided to ask them about their best friends. It went like this:

ME: Anna Grace, who is your best friend?

ANNA GRACE: (after a long thought filled pause) Ummm....Kennedy.

ME:
Kai, who is YOUR best friend?

KAI: (also stopping for a bit to think) Ummm.....Jesus!

ME:
(quite surprised, not to mention thrilled, at his response since we were talking about school friends) Wow, Kai! Jesus is your best friend? Why's that?

KAI: (responding with a tone as if I should have known the answer) Because Mama. Jesus loves me more than everybody in the whole world!

Now, if that don't make a Mama's heart swell, I don't know what does!

Our Weekend in Pictures

I still have not had the time to sit and blog about our holiday with summer being here full steam and 3 little ones and a teenager to keep busy. It was truly a fun time, minus the thunderous rain storms and some major Anna Grace attachment issues.

So, hang in there a bit longer and feel free to enjoy our 4th of July weekend in pictures.

Mama's little man, Kai (4), who is growing so fast.

My oldest baby, Tito (26), stopped by to visit with his bride-to-be!

Lots of cuteness!

Stormy waters but lots of fun on Miami Beach.

Four of my six beautiful babies!

Our Chinese Princess, Anna Grace (3), celebrating the 4th of July!

My little "rebel without a cause", AJ (2).

My beautiful big girl, Amanda (almost 14!!).

Family and good times.

Boy, do they love sand!

Lots to share!

But not tonight folks...sorry! I am so tired! We just got back from our 3 day weekend in Miami Beach and the kids had a blast. I have TONS of pictures and will definitely be posting them with some cute stories of our crew celebrating the 4th. So, please check back soon!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and a huge thank you to all of the men and women that serve in our armed forces. It is through them that we are able to live, work and play in a free country. God bless America!
