"Once our eyes are opened, we cannot pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

We tried!

I attempted yesterday to take the little ones out for a photo shoot in the yard. The heat index here was 105. Poor things! They tried so hard. But, between the sweat dripping down their little faces and the sun in their eyes, they were miserable. We ended up having an afternoon of fun in the pool. Then, everyone was happy, that includes Mama!

Enjoy!

Wrapping it up!

It's so strange to think that summer is almost over and my babies will remain with me. Usually around this time of year, I start getting mopey because I have to send them back to school. Not any more! They are excited and I am thrilled!

They are so cute! Every morning they wake up and ask, "Is today the first day of Mama's Home school?" They are dying to rip into all the boxes, explore all the new books, start all the crafts and just thirsting to learn.

Ironically, although we've had a busy summer with moving into a new house and everything that goes with it, not to mention all the fun in the sun we've had, we've also been doing lots of reading and educational games at home. I guess they figure that's not learning because it's too much fun. I'm thinking that's a good thing.

We finally picked up Anna Grace's glasses today and she's wearing them like a champ. She's assured the boys that "they are not to be touched and that she needs glasses and they are very important", all in her adorable Long Island/Chinese accent. I must record a conversation with her to share on here for you to appreciate the complete cuteness of the girl. My Chinese princess has grown up so much. All of them have.

It's amazing to look at the triplet trio and not see babies anymore. How did that happen? Wasn't it just yesterday that they were placed in my arms? Makes me a bit sad. Fortunately, they are still very much into snuggling with Mama and allowing me to love on them even in front of their friends, so we haven't hit that age where they feel they are too old for it. I so wish they would stay that way.

Tomorrow will be our next to last week of the free movies (gonna go watch Arctic Tale) and then we have a play date with friends from school last year. Next week is last minute preparations for school and we're off to the start of a new adventure in the Bombardier household.
