Guilt Ridden Bliss!

My very sweet friend, Sara, over at Wendt's Words did something horrible! She blogged about the world's easiest peanut butter cookie recipe. Guess what? Peanut butter cookies are my absolute favorite. Yes friends, in the midst of my diet, I decided to take a walk on the wild side.

Do you have ANY idea how many calories/fat grams/carbs/and Weight Watcher Points are in peanut butter cookies? Umm....when you eat 10 of them in one sitting?!!!! Yep. (picture head hanging low) That was me! I just cannot enjoy them in moderation. I was going to wait till "Not Me! Monday" to not confess about it, but I couldn't hold myself back.

Erring the side of caution, I must warn you. These cookies are only for that elite group that can achieve disciplined self-control. Unless you're like me and want to throw caution to the wind, Go ahead. Whatever category you fall in, you just have to go HERE and try these cookies out with a glass of cold milk! Oh, and that glass of cold milk? Good grief! Make sure it's whole milk and none of the skim stuff I've been drinking. That's what I did!

Sara, I love you, but I have to be honest. Those extra 45 minutes I had to stay on the treadmill were not fun! The cookies were to die for, though. YUMMERS! And because you're a Mama in waiting, both my hips and I forgive you. Now make up for it and let me hear your LOA is finally in!

Naw - good ol fashion home made chocolate chippers - that you then use a the 'bread' for a peanut butter sandwhich (may was well RELLY drive up those fat grams) that you wash down with that ice cold glass of whole milk...

hey - half the fun of dieting is being adult enough to 'blow it' once in a while!

You crack me up!!! It's probably a good thing the recipe doesn't make too big of a batch...I have a really good recipe for peanut butter-oatmeal-choc.chip cookies..they are to die for. The recipe calls for one can of sweetened condensed milk...they are YUM-O. I also have a very easy recipe for Peanut Butter balls...a Paula Deen recipe..I just love her...oh one more peanut butter note..have you ever tried a Fluffer Nutter Sandwich......I saw them on Food Network..So I of course had to try them. It's a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff on cheap white bread...yummy except it's more like a candy bar or something :-)

So are you starting to plan for your famous Thanksgiving dinner??? I still want your recipe for your apple sausage stuffing (or something like that...)Actually, it would be great if you would do a whole blog dedicated to your Thanksgiving dinner...with recipes of course...it looked awesome..very June Cleaver..hee hee :-) I want to make the oranges this year...so pretty.

Going on day 86....I have heard through the grapevine that LOA has been coming b/t day 90-107....but you know how that goes, it can all change in a second... we are getting there though...

The best news.....today I received an updated picture of our little boy..taken Oct.16th...OH MY IS HE CUTE (of course!!) We are sending him a birthday package this coming week.

Take Care...and be nice to Treddy :-)
