One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied,'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

What a great couple posts - teach me to be busy and bothered by many things! Starting with AG - I oh so well remember your posts 'back in the day' - and then I remember how they supported me (in particular the last couple weeks as Braelyn has decided - at least for some of the day - that I am lower than pond scum and simply need to be screamed at and pushed away - we're coping, learning, and loving every day!) and to read this now - ya'll just make my heart sing and bring me a little peace! Thanks for that.
As for todays post - while I found it funny - it just a crying shame that it's also soo true!
Hugs and love - aus and co.
LOL! Thumbs up Ohilda!
Too funny!
Truer words were never spoken (sadly). Time to thin the herd... :)

HA!!!!!! What a bunch of CREEPS!!!!
Love it!
Ohilda, your post brought tears to my eyes. I remember telling Matthew (for those of you who don't know me he is my bio son) many times when he was angry, "son, I love you enough for both of us" Used to really make him even angrier, but it made me smile. As Lexi came along, I have added her to the list, but its funny, like with Anna Grace, it seems to calm, and reassure her that this is home, and this family is hers no matter what she says or does. Not to say she doesn't test.. cuz she does, but she knows it is safe.
