C.E.L.E.B.R.A.T.E. Good Times...C'mon!

We are home! We are "cast-free".

We have healed "incredibly well".

We are praising God!!!

Here are some pictures from today. It was an amazing day because we had a few special "God-incidences" thrown in (that'll be another post), but all of the above is what is making my heart sing with joy! Anna Grace was an amazing little trooper. Gosh, that girl is my hero! I took a few videos of the cast being removed and she was being so brave. Bless her heart. She let one lone tear slide down her little face. Her hand looks amazing (although still covered in dissolvable stitches, dried blood and very swollen, so pretty icky). The surgeons personality is like a rock, but he's extremely talented at his profession. He did a beautiful job.

Now we wait one month until those stitches dissolve and heal and we go back for a final checkup in December.

Again, thank you all so much for praying for my sweet girl.

Here are a couple of video clips (remember to scroll down to turn off background music) and the pictures of her cast removal.

My brave little princess earned (along with little brother, AJ) her very own "Ken" doll. (They were out of Barbies).

Ohilda,
I have to come back at a later time and finish reading, but I am rejoicing that Anna Grace has turned a huge corner in attachment and that she has been healed!! I just read your comment and am so bummed I missed out on meeting you. For some reason, I thought you lived in another part of the state. I would have loved meeting you!! We'll be back... next time as a family of 5! :-)

What a brave girl!

Did I hear you call her "Anna Gracie"? Because I have a Hannah Grace, and I call her Hannah Gracie! At 15, she doesn't love it so much any more......

I can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

Bless her little heart. The look on her face right before the removal... one could tell she was afraid. but, then after it was off she was like.. "Oh.. Okay.. YAY!!"
So sweet!
So glad she's doing well!!!!!
