It's me again. Asking for Prayers.

I've been pondering for the last week if this is something I should share publicly, for all to know. Well, I decided that if for my kids I could ask for prayers when it came to things like this, why not ask for myself.

So again, here I am calling on all prayer warriors. In two days (Wednesday the 27th) I will be going in for surgery. A hysterectomy to be exact. Not due to anything life threatening, but something I've been putting off that needs to be done. I shall be in the hospital for 4 days and 3 nights, which means leaving my kiddos alone again. This time will be easier for them because Daddy will be home at night, but none-the-less, it will be tough.

I understand it's one of the most routine surgeries performed and that the recoup is about 6 weeks No lifiting for at least 4 of those weeks!! That will be my most difficult task with 3 toddlers at home. My Mom, again, will be here the first week to pick up the slack and I am so darn blessed to have her. She is amazing!

Dear friends, I ask that you please keep me in your prayers that all go well with the surgery. Scott said after one of my morbid comments this week "If you die in surgery, I will KILL you!" heh! Also, please pray that my recovery be a quick one. It wasn't really until this weekend that I realized how much I truly do around here and my family needs me, so I need to be back into the swing of things ASAP.

Lord Jesus, YOU are in control of everything. I have faith and strongly believe that You will be at my side guiding the surgeon's hands and I thank You now for my fast recovery.

I also thank all of you, my faithful friends for keeping me in your prayers. I will keep you posted, since I think my laptop and myself will once again become close friends. God bless.

PS If anyone that's gone through the surgery wants to share or has any tips or comments, please feel free to email me.

Ohilda,

Oh, my friend.....of course you are a bit nervous about this surgery...all of us would be! I am praying for you...praying that God wraps His loving arms around you, blesses your surgeons and brings you to a speedy recovery. We all know that us Moms just have no time to be not feeling well. You are right in that we may not realize just how much we do, until we are unable to do those things.

praying for you!!!

Loving Father,

Make skilled the work of the surgeon and that of his team for it is unto their knowledge and skill that Ohilda gives herself for healing.
I pray You, Lord, that this procedure will be without complication, and that her recovery will be speedy and complete.

*I will keep close tabs with Ily on how things are going*

Praying for you sweet friend, that the Lord would give you His perfect peace, a smooth surgery, and total (speedy) healing! May He keep his hand upon your family, and hold you all together in His great love.

"Thank you Lord for my friend Ohilda, thank you for the creative way that you brought us together. Thank you that our friendship is REAL, despite its differences from a face to face friendship! What a blessing, what a joy You have given us in one another! Hold Ohilda in the palm of Your mighty hand, dear Father. Please heal her quickly Lord."

In Your Mighty Name, Amen!

Love you friend!
