Bless her heart, and yours to. At one point of the video you looked up at the camera with the saddest look. I hope and pray the rest of the trip is great with lots of bonding time. She is a Cutie.

She is beautiful! This means she will attach which is wonderful! I am crying for you what a wonderful miracle! I hope she is calmer now.

I remember your e-mail being so wonderfully comforting when I was in China being actively rejected by our new daughter! That feeling of having your heart torn in two is so fresh in my memory - crying for everything she is losing, for everything she can't yet realize that she is gaining. Spending days with a child that wouldn't hold my hand, spending nights with a child who was grieving hard. Wishing she would open up just that little bit to let me in. (I've since decided that Mommies with BIG LOVE need bigger openings to let them into their new babies' hearts, so it takes them a little longer!) Since my Mommyzilla days didn't last long, I'm sure yours will be over before you know it. Now Eleanor clamors for that love and attention I wanted to give her so much in China. I'm just so glad that our Hefei girls were loved enough to miss their orphanage caretakers and foster parents; I know it's ultimately helped Eleanor know how to love at all, and we're so grateful for that! :) I can't wait to see Anna Grace's smiles as she realizes that her forever family is with her for good! Peace and rest and cheer and love to you all.
