apologies

I have so very much to be thankful for.

And I am.

God has blessed me over and over and over and then He's blessed me some more.

Yet, I feel that I'm constantly coming on here to ask for prayers. I feel that I've created it to be the place readers come to when they're in the mood for doom and gloom.

I apologize.

Truly.

Sincerely.

I don't mean to, but it's my escape. It's the place I come to share my heart. The same heart that rejoices in His word, but can just as quickly be broken at thoughts that I wish wouldn't enter the deepest creases of mind.

It will be like this for a while.

I'm sorry.

You have been nothing short of amazing in all your support for all of us. Let us be there to help you through the rough patches! Come here, share your heart and let us lift you up in prayer!

Ohilda, I have NEVER come to your blog looking for doom and gloom!! Quite the contrary, I come when I need to be uplifted, when I need encouragement, when I need a friend. What's that old saying, "Love means never having to say you're sorry." And you are loved, by all of us, and by the Big Man Upstairs. You take your time, hon.

I'm with the rest--why are you apologizing? That's why we're here. If I want doom and gloom, I'll read the newspaper or listen to the politicos on the TV. If I want REAL--real joy, real hurts, real love, real needs--I come here. Thanks for being real. It's a privilege to pray for you!!

Ohilda, this is what we are here for...to support each other, love each other, pray for each other!!!!!!! Don't listen to the enemy's lies that your blog is doom and gloom. You are supposed to share your heart...and we are supposed to lift you up and support you during this hard time. The more prayers, the better...and that is what we are doing...praying for our sweet friend. Praying you through. Do you know that song, "Somebody's praying me through..." It's a good one.
And also, I might add, how many times have YOU been the encourager for ME? LOTS and LOTS!!!!!! Thank you for being you, sweet Ohilda.
Sending you hugs....

You know I am breaking my rule to come over here and comment;) Your prayer requests are always important no matter what they are....our Father wants us to come to Him for everything....ALL of our needs! You are a special child of His my friend and He wants to hear from you AND He wants to hear from all of us on your behalf. I love you and will not cease in prayer for you. I leave you with my favorite bible verse.
(1Thes. 5:16-18)Rejoice always, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I love you.

Let me be more blunt than perhaps some of your other readers (like I could be any other way?) Be sorry my a$$!

We come here for life - and that's what you are living - rough patch or easy - happy or sad - good, bad, or inbetween.....it is what it is!

If anyone's sorry it's me - wish I could be there to give all you guys the hugs and support you need in person instead of by bytes!

Prayers - blessings - hugs and a load of love

O! Never ever be sorry for asking for prayer! Do you know how brave you are? Putting yourself out there and sharing the good, bad and the ugly! Oh, if only I could be more like you! We are all here for you just like you have always been there for us!! That's what friends do: rejoice together, cry together, pray together!

Love you, sweet girl!
Always praying,
Monica

O, it is so heartwarming to read these comments from your friends who love you so (including myself in the bunch, of course!).

This is what I try to explain to family/friends who don't "get" the concept that blog buddies are TRUE friends of the heart...certainly some of the best and truest I've ever been blessed with...
Know that we love you through ALL seasons...as He does and as you do with each of us. This is just that, Ohilda, a season. He will lead you through it and we are blessed to pray and to hold your hand along the way. Wishing we lived closer and I could hug you in person...

I love you, precious friend.

Oh Ohilda, Apology accepted! God told us to fellowship with other Christian so we can vent, cry, stamp, throw things or just be quiet in His grace wit thier presence. It is wonderful you feel secure and loved with your followers to share. God has given you a heavy load, we are here to help you carry it. God bles you hon and like I said I have home schooled for your years, my kids survived it (Not sure I did) I know the ups and downs and the whole thing, if I can help in anyway from prayer to support to someone to vent to, please let me know. really. You are such an inspiration to me, and bring such joy in my life.

I think everyone here can relate to trials. Take your time and give it all to God. (I know, easier said).

I recently read something Steve Trexel wrote about growing up in the north and how at the beginning of every winter he would go out to the lake and test the ice to make sure it would withstand his weight.

"Trials in our lives are simply opportunities to test the ice. God wants us to have confidence the ice will hold. He wants us to run freely."

Think of each trial as bringing us closer to trusting him with ALL and living free from fear and worry. Wish I could say I was there but each trial I am closer.

You have my number,

Hugs,

Carmen
