Such mixed emotions

I have been totally engulfed in a project that I am doing for my Dad's 67th birthday, and have had everything that could go wrong, do so. But, while working on it today, I took a small break and just had a feeling to go over to my sister's blog, which I haven't been to in a while, because honestly there is not much going on with her adoption wait for baby Isabella (NSN).

When her page opened up. I felt a huge tug at my heart and immediately after I began reading, the tears started pouring. Those of you that read my blog often know how much I love my family, but my sister and I (7 years apart) have a bond that is truly cemented in the Lord. Words can't describe how much I love her and how parallel our lives have been because of God's leading. I am so honored to serve such a merciful, loving and forgiving Father.

My sister's story is hers to tell, and one that I didn't know about until many years after the fact. Ironically, my heart has always been led towards pregnant mothers and their unborn babies. even while Ily's untold story was happening. Of course, part of God's plan.

I encourage everyone who reads this to go and read Ily's post from yesterday at Journey to Isabella and listen to the beautiful song (remember to pause the music on the sidebar first) that goes with it. It is a story filled with honesty and love, both for her child and for our Savior.

Ily, I love you so very much! You have a pure and true heart for Jesus and we both know that you will someday be united with Baby Elizabeth....and so will I. I can't wait! Thank you for sharing from the depths of your heart. I know it isn't easy, but everytime you do, you glorify our Lord. I am honored to call you my sister. XXXOOO!

Thanks for your blog, It's a true miracle what the Lord does in our life and it's only when we quiet our hearts that we can truly see the miracle taking place.

You too are such a blessing in many lives, including mine and I like you am honored to call you my sister.

Love you more than the whole world and back !!!! God Bless

I just found your blog from a comment you left on someone else's blog.

What a beautiful family you have. I will pray for you sister, it is so hard sometimes to wait and see God's plan and thankfully we have a merciful Father who wipes our tears and takes our guilt away.

I have only looked at the most current page of your blog but maybe when my little ones nap today I will spend more time on it.
