Happy Birthday To Me!

Yes....today was my birthday and it was a WONDERFUL day! I received lots of presents, which I loved, but one of my favorites was a gift that I received from my incredible sister. You see, she offered to take ALL of the kids so that Scott and I could spend the day together at the beach. It was AWESOME!

AJ and Kai spent the night there last night and we dropped off Anna Grace bright and early. Then, we continued north to a beautiful beach which we hadn't been to before. The weather was gorgeouss; 95 and sunny! We spent the day in the water, relaxing, laughing and just enjoying each other's company without having to worry about little ones or carrying a thousand bags full of all the things you would need to drag to the beach with 3 toddlers. We left about 1:00 p.m. and had a delicious lunch at an Irish pub and then did some shopping at some very cute and quaint little shops in the historic district! It was a perfect day.

Afterwards, we headed back to my sister's where the family all gathered. The kids had a fun-filled day with their Ayi, and even their cousin Anthony and Po-Po joined in the fun taking them to the park (Kai's absolute favorite thing to do in the whole world) where they had a blast. Amanda and Adam later joined us also and we went out to a great dinner as a big family. It truly was such a relaxing and enjoyable birthday. I loved it!!!! AND....I was totally spoiled because some of my gifts included Season 5 of "24" (wooohoooo!!!! Jack Bauer is back again), a 160 Gig external harddrive for my pictures and videos....(double wooohoooo), movie tickets with an evening of babysitting service (another date night), a treat at the spa that includes manicure and pedicure, a basket of flowers, and 2 dozen roses and balloons!

What more could a girl ask for? All that...AND an amazing hubby, six beautiful, healthy, wonderful children and a family that I am so blessed to have! Life is good. Thank you, Lord for my huge bouquet of blessings!
